In September 2015, Confluence Charter Schools began a strategic planning process for its network of five schools.
Teachers, staff, parents and community members participated in the first phase of the process. The result led to the creation of five areas of emphasis, or strategies, that Confluence should focus on for the future. The areas include Community and Family Engagement; Curriculum; Culture; Finance; and Teacher Quality, Retention and Development.
Phase Two will begin with forming action teams to develop plans for each of the five strategies.
Confluence is once again inviting the school community to participate in the process. The action teams will include parents and staff. Each team needs 5-6 parents and 5-6 teachers to serve as volunteers. Teams will meet several times throughout the semester after the school day; a meetings schedule will be set in the coming weeks.
Interested volunteers have two options for joining an action team - completing an online interest form or calling (314) 436-2313.
